I'm Javi — a Technical Product Manager based in Barcelona.
I've spent the last 11 years working at the intersection of technology, business, operations, and product — building platforms that handle millions of users, migrating critical infrastructure without dropping revenue, and more recently, experimenting with AI and GenAI to understand where it actually works in production and where it doesn't.
What drives me at work is the same thing that drives me outside of it: I don't like leaving problems unsolved. I need to understand how things work — not just at the surface, but deep enough to make good decisions. Whether that's a complex AdTech architecture or a latency problem in a voice agent, I'll keep digging until I find the real answer.
Outside of work, I spend as much time as possible with my family — ideally somewhere on the road in our camper van. I like to run (I finished the Barcelona Marathon in March 2026, which I'm very proud of), I hike, I chase adventure sports when I get the chance, and I always have a camera with me. Photography and video editing are how I slow down and pay attention to things differently.
If I had to describe how my colleagues would describe me: someone who asks a lot of questions, likes to get into the details, and then somehow makes it all simple for everyone else.
